98 Hawaiian Grill Featured In The Minnesota Star Tribune

We are thrilled to share that 98 Hawaiian Grill was featured in the Minnesota Star Tribune, thanks to a visit from renowned food writer Nancy Ngo! In her article, “James Beard-nominated chef, former Vikings player among those featured in new Minnesota food hall: A first look at the lineup in the House Food and Tap, St. Joseph’s newest gathering spot,” Nancy gives readers an inside look at the exciting lineup — and we’re proud to be part of it.

As highlighted in the piece, our journey to House Food and Tap began when developers Craig and Brianne Hern sought to bring unique culinary experiences to St. Joseph. They were introduced to Esera Tuaolo, former Minnesota Viking turned chef, who was ready to share his native Hawaiian flavors with Minnesota. “It was exactly what we were looking for,” Craig shared. “Esera has one of those unique food cuisines that nobody has really experienced in this area.”

The article also shares how other great concepts, like Eminent Coffee Roasters, Krewe, and Flour & Flower, came together to create a vibrant and diverse food hall — and we are honored to be among them.
